well im sorry to rain on your pretty-boy-bowtie parade, but the chevelle ss 454 so called glorious “king of the muscle cars” is simply a slow disgrace to its sleeper cousin that should have gotten all the fame. these 454s are delicate and horribly belittled by another GM big block that is only one cube bigger. thats right im talkin B U I C K. just realize that 1 more cubic inch made 1 less second on the 1/4. i used 2 like big popular sports cars like these, but i matured and grew out of it.
