Great video. To the …
The TERM muscle-car came from the first road-tests of the very first Chrysler 300..Which was a Chrysler Newport with a HEMI. It was the WORLDS 1st car with more than 300hp (hence the name), so the original Chrysler 300 was THEE first car coined with the name “muscle car”. with ref. to THIS song, however…Granny was likely driving a 63 or 64 Max Wedgeâ„¢ Dodge Polara.
Great video. To the guy that posted that Honda invented the first muscle-car, thank you for making me laugh

Sure wish all that “late model” stuff with hemis had been left out and a few 1974 2door Plymouth or Dodge hartdops were included. This song was about them and the 413 wedge engines.

I think you mean a 1959 Chrysler with a 413. Those should get at least 9 or 10 mpg, unless it’s only driven at a drag strip!

thats what its all about dude! I’ve had an old bug since I was 12, I just turned 16 last month. What I REALLY want is a 1958 plymouth fury!! I could probably sell the bug and get enough money for one, but I’m a little to attached to it. So instead I’m trying to get a job and by some miracle save up enough for one.
