gm and dodge are built stronger ive won many races with a turbo 400 and a modified shift kit and a gated shifter

Who buys a "Muscle car" with an auto tranny ??? If it does’nt have 3 pedal in it, IT’S NOT A HOT ROD !

I guess I’ve never noticed any problems with them. I would say the factory engineered them to shift a little softer to keep from breaking parts…hard shifts are hard on the drivetrain. If you own one of these cars you can install a shift kit to solve the "problem".

all I know is that a chevy auto tranny is a fast choise. try to put a new tranny in.
