MJCQ WWII jeep Christmas gymkhana 2006
October 14th, 2009 | by admin |
A fun day for the Military Jeep Club of Queensland held on the 2nd and 3rd December 2006 near Brisbane. The main event was a time trial to complete the course which started with a log crossing, through a dip and a mud pit, along two logs, reverse slalom, dirt mounds and twists then back to the start point.
Vehicles that can be seen are:
Ford GPW jeeps
Dodge WC-51 Weapon Carriers
WC-53 Carryall
Blitz (CMP) trucks
Dodge staff car
M38A1
HMMWV (Hummer)
Coot
Note that a number of these vehicles were unrestored ‘runabout’ ones, their owners having (wisely?) left their good restored MV’s at home
Duration : 0:9:33
